A heartfully crafted Japanese soup spoon with a turtle shell shape. This ramen spoon is large in size, yet light and easy to hold thanks to being made of natural wood. The distinctive design evokes the atmosphere of an authentic ramen restaurant.
The warmth and natural texture of wood is perfect not only for hot noodles, but also for Japanese dishes such as simmered dishes, oden, and tofu.
The matte finish of suri-urushi (wiped lacquer) brings out the beauty of the wood grain. This soup spoon’s exquisite sheen is attained by layering numerous coatings of lacquer, a technique used in traditional Yamanaka lacquerware.
