A heartfully crafted slotted ramen spoon with a turtle shell shape. This soup spoon is large in size, yet light and easy to hold thanks to being made of natural wood. The distinctive design evokes the atmosphere of an authentic ramen restaurant.
The holes in the spoon allow for easily scooping up ramen toppings. This soup spoon can also be used as a shallow ladle. The warmth and natural texture of wood is perfect not only for hot noodles, but also for Japanese dishes such as simmered dishes, oden, and tofu.
The matte finish of suri-urushi (wiped lacquer) brings out the beauty of the wood grain. Its exquisite sheen is attained by layering numerous coatings of lacquer, a technique used in traditional Yamanaka lacquerware.
